i enjoyed the performance of the disney villains! i think there are more characters this year than 2 years ago...of course theres mickey & minnie, donald & daisy, pluto, goofy... princess & prince jasmine & aladin, ariel & eric, belle & beast, cinderella & prince charming, snowhite & prince, aurora& philip, tiana & naveen, mulan & li shang.... alice, tinkerbell, lilo, stitch, woody, jesse, buzz, rex, ham, toy soldier, fairy godmother, pinochio, gepetto, disney villains: cruella deville, dr facilier, captain hook, evil queen, maleficent... . i hope i did mentioned all...

Im so behind in updating my blog! sorry my blog for not posting an entry for so long! but this is my promise... ill post more ofter in 2012! (cross fingers)

2 weeks out

I was out of office for 2 straight weeks. Meaning, i was working on the field for 2 weeks. i really hoped it was a 2 week vacation. Nevertheless, i managed to see and visit nice places. I traversed more than half of the mindanao island. First stop was Davao, then Cagayan de Oro, then Dipolog, and last stop was Zamboanga. Boy, what a trip, we have to get up early and catch a quick breakfast to take a min 3 hrs and max 5 hours land trip. I saw one of the famous tourist resort in Dipolog City, Dakak. We just had snack there and picture taking. We marked the place as one of the options where we can hold our regional meetings. Then, we went to see the historical place, Dapitan, home of exile of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Its amazing to know some facts about his life in exile as the tour guide re tells them which obviously i did not remember from college subject, PI 100, shame on me! Well at least, now I know. Aside from the side trips, my fieldwork turned out to be productive. The info and data i gathered will be useful in our upcoming business planning by September. I really missed my office cubicle, our breaktime, lunch out and my apartment room.

Well, that 2 weeks is done now... And im ready to finish the month with good output in time for the planning. When i returned to Manila yesterday, i went straight to 2 meetings. I did not have the time to check on the pile of papers on my table, worse, was not able to open my email inbox. I imagined it to be on red and some mails have bounced since i was not able to open it everyday. Plus some junk mail, of course, has added up to the line. I really want an application that will automatically organize emails and filter it to good and junk mails. Is that impossible?
Well so much for that wish, got to tidy up my maibox first.

Saturday shopping

Yesterday was a work saturday. I planned not to go to office that day since i just got from fieldwork in Bohol and Cebu. But i was scheduled, again, for a 2 weeks field work next week, so i went to office. Since my mind is set that i won't work, i did not turned on my computer. I just checked on the pile of papers on my table and signed memos that are urgent, some can wait until monday. With nothing more to do that does not require a laptop, i decided to go out instead and do some thrift shopping. So together with my girl-friend-officemate, we went to Pasig. Even its raining, we braved the slippery streets and successfully brought stuffs at really cheap prices. On our way back to the car, rain was really pouring hard. But we need to get back to the office before lunchtime. So we hastilly ran to the car and carelessly throw our stuff in the backseat. A cracking sound is the next we heard. It turned out that my bag landed straight in a ceramic figurine in the backseat. Its a ceramic rotweiller figurine i bought in Bohol and its now broken! So much for thr thrift shopping! I just buy another one when i go back to bohol.

It all ended last July 15

Harry Potter has ended, in the silver screen. But for me its not, as long as i can play the movie copy from my movie tank and read all 7 books in my kindle.

I am a self- confessed harry potter fanatic. But not as much compared to others i read in the net. Go on, jjudge me:

1. I have all 7 books (only in paperback)/ loaded it it my kindle (both audio & pdf files)
2. I got dvd copies/ movie tank all in hd copies
3. I have hp lego keychain, stickers, dvd case, bookmarks, notebook, magazines, organizer box, parker pen...
4. I downloaded all available HP apps from itunes in my iphone & ipad
5. I downloaded all HP movie soundtrack
6. My current laptop & ipad wallpaper is the "dumbledores army poster". My laptop password are HP spells (our company requires us to change pw every 3 months.. my current is 'confringo!'... previous are... alohomora!, riddikulus!, immobilus!...)
7. I was able to visit and enjoy the harry potter exhibit for 3 hours in time square new york! But no pictures was allowed inside.
8. I bought Hermione Granger's Timeturner
9. I plan to go to universal studio, florida for the hp theme park.
10. I regret not buying a wand from the exhibit store
11. I will dress up as Hermione if ever we have a halloween party or a costume party

Not too bad, i guess...

Busy month

Im off to a very busy month... I just finished my Work itinerary and will submit tomorrow to my boss. First time that i will be out of town for 3 weeks in a month, 2 weeks straight in Mindanao (first and second week) and 1 week in west visayas (fourth week). I don't really mind my fieldworks, in fact i do enjoy it because of the places i visit and also the food! I only worry the weather, this month is rainy month.. And also, i have difficulty in packing my things. Its hard to pack for 10 days. Plus i have to bring my walking gear... But oh well, why complain? I need to work!
