1) ...you turn up late for a very important board meeting, smile atall the stuffy "suits" as you coolly arrange all your paraphernalia onthe table in front of you ... and then realize yours is the only PCnotebook plastered in Harry Potter stickers.

2) ...when you suddenly realize you and your son/daughter are on abroom, playing with red balls all over the living room.

3) ...when your friends had to read the Harry Potter books to finallyunderstand What The Heck are you talking about...

4) ...when you suddenly find yourself 'animating' the little redenvelope for prescriptions while shouting your lungs out ... (but thekids just loved the howler ;)

5) ...when you swing your pencil or pen before realizing you can'tcast magic spells anyway.

6) ...when you have at least one Harry Potter book on your nightstandall the time.

7) ...when you no longer brush your hair in the morning because, hey,untidy hair is cool now!

8) ...you are learning Latin so you can come up with some reallygroovy spells (and curses) of your own.

9) ...when you ditch your HB pencil in search of a HP one.

10) ...when you bump head-first into things on purpose, hoping it'llleave a scar...

11) ...when your three-year old runs around the house wavingchopsticks at things bellowing "wingardium leviosa... swish andflick!"

12) ..."Meet my dog, Pigwidgeon."

13) ...when you forget the keys to your apartment, and just keepshouting 'alohomora' until someone comes to open the door.

14) ...when you try to 'accio' things.

15) ...when you read other books and wonder what would a HP characterdo in such a situation.

16) ...when your literature teacher asks you to write a storyvariation in the style of Edgar Allen Poe and you write a Harry Potterone.

17) ...when you tell someone you'll send them a note via owl.

18) ...when you can correctly identify 4 different species of dragon.

19) ...when you know what bubotubers are and what their pus is usedfor.

20) ...you stay up until 3:00am reading every entry in (and respondingto most) in "alt.fan.harry-potter".

21)...you're looking up in your yellow pages to find the Department of Magical Transportation, Floo Network Office in order to get yourliving room fireplace connected to the Floo Network - at last yourcomputer is connected to the Internet too ...

22) ...when you get irritated with your husband/friend, and then callhim "Ron" in the middle of an argument.

23)...if you can relate to at least half of the items mentioned above... hahahaha

Harry Potter

I can't believe myself... Im a self-confessed Harry Potter fanatic and I have not read Book 7- Deathly Hallows. I should be ashamed!. Well, reason is that the paper back issue is not yet out in bookstores. I started collecting the book in paperbacks & i dont want to mess up my collection by having the last book in hard cover. But Im planning to buy the whole bunch of 7 hardbound books in a chest when the time comes. Its a great collection since i won't use it. I got the whole paperbacks whenever i want to reread them. I have a copy of an audio book though. But i found it hard to enjoy listening compared to reading it.

Aside from completing HP books, I've also started collecting stuffs worthy to keep. I bought them all in ebay! a replica of Hermione's timeturner by Warner Brothers; HP keychain by Lego; HP Book 1 - 5 original dvds, interactive game, trading cards, 5 bookmarks, HP box with goodies like a notebook, pencil case...a book about JK Rowling, a copy of the Magical World of HP. I'm always on the look out at ebay for new HP thingys that i can add to my collections. If you do know where i can buy HP stuffs, please let me know!

Alone in the room

Whew, it's been weeks since i have posted an entry to my blog (minus the tags)... as i write this entry, Im in Lipa City, Batangas... Anfa Hotel to be exact. I'll be here until tomorrow for my fieldwork. This is a WIFI zone hotel & is infront of Robinsons mall!!! Wow, what a great way to end the days work. It has been a routine for me that whenever I am in a province, I must buy sometthing... a souvenir... this time... my take home remembrance is a pair of shoes... uuhmm, pairs of shoes pala... hahahahah...

Sometimes its good to buy in provinces because good stuffs are always out of stock in Manila malls. Like when Im in Baguio years back, there was this bag I wanted very badly in Lacoste...i've gone thru almost all Lacoste branches in Manila.. that i bought in Lacoste In SM Baguio... i got the color i wanted!!!

My work allows me to go to one province to another. I practically been to all major cities of the Philippines & im very grateful to my company for this privilege. But of course, its not all pleasure, but work, work, work. What i dont like much is when i get to drive alone...especially in the north part of the country. Its true that i love long drives... it soothes my nerves & makes me think... really think be it personal or still work related. But long drives for me means driving to Batangas or Laguna... or even up to Pangasinan, period... But I cant bear really long drives like Baguio or Bicol without a companion...

Well. now, am alone in the room....with the TV on... & i realize that my blog is nearing its 3rd month.. that will be on August 1... yey! it means that i can sign in to servers that pay blogs!!! Since i have access to wifi, i better do my blog visit which I failed to do for weeks... See u all at your site!
