I'm Incommunicado

My cell phone is dead. I can’t make call nor text, albeit, I can’t receive call & text too! I have this uneasy feeling, as if I’m invisible. I learned about this early this morning when I realized I have not heard alerts from my phone which is very unusual.

Just like everybody, I can’t live without cell phone, its part of my body. I inspected my unit & there’s nothing wrong, the call settings are intact. Since this is a company phone, I reported this case & it seems that it’s either my SIM card is busted or SMART is encountering problems. Up till now, as I write this post, our telephone services cannot identify what is really wrong with my line connection.

Will you feel like this if it were you? Or am I just paranoid?

Cinderella

This is must-see! It is already given that Lea Salonga is playing Cinderella. When I first learned that Cinderella is actually a play and that it will be staged here, I said to myself that I will watch it by hook or by crook.

What really struck me was the production set & design! The curtain is shimmering blue with the infamous glass slipper of Cinderella. Credits are up to the production team on how they did the transformation of Cinderella in rags to a ball gown and then back to rags again... and of course, the pumpkin into a golden carriage & mice to horsemen! They had really spun magic in the stage right before my eyes!!! Kudos too to the director, Bobby Garcia.

The orchestra is equally great! Though I'm more familiar with the songs rendered by Disney, Rodger's & Hammerstein's selection is a thumbs up! ... You should grab a copy of the OST.

It was indeed a worthwhile 2 hour show! The kid in us sometimes need to be unleashed once in while...

I don't like Mondays... Tell me why?

It's raining. And it's Monday. It's not that I hate raining, but, on a Monday! Its a bed-weather!

Getting ready for office on a Monday is really hard for me. I had a great weekend... Saturday I watched Cinderella & gone to Powerbooks sale! Sunday, i left my car at Shell Station in Las Pinas for undercoating & shampoo. Went to Greenhills with Beng to buy lap top accessories. We ate spicy tuna pasta that my sister Ruthie cooked. Went to see a movie, now with Laurence, Mariel & Daenielle... we watched "A Very Special Love" ... hehehehe.... we did enjoy the movie.

In short, my weekend was so great that I dont want to go to office to work! I was on meeting practically whole day. I'm not productive today because of the meetings & have to go home late to finish pending works i failed to do today. I was able to go home by 8:30!

Tell me, do you like Mondays? It's still raining...and now, I'm coming down with colds...

Wishful Thinking About my Condo

Time is really ticking fast right under my nose. With lots of things in my mind regarding work, I completely forgotten that I have to find time to furnish the condo unit I bought last March! Maybe the reason why I have forgotten about this is that the contractor and the financing firm has not yet given me the statement of account & the actual amount i have to pay every month.

With the time elapsed, I was looking back at it and wishing that I have furnished it already & have it rented out.

Well, anyway, its not right to cry over a spilt milk. Now, I'm organizing my thougths on what will be the look, mood & theme of my 31 sq m condo would be. I'm really planning on getting an expert, like an interior designer... but because of budget constraints, I'm looking for someone who will do charity on me & design my condo for free just for the experience. Any takers?

But if no one answers to my plea.. real living magazines can be the solution. In my opinion, I know that curtains & rugs will actually do the magic! Well, I really hope I can find cheap rugs & curtains!

I'll just settle for a white wall paint so that i can play with printed & colorful curtains, rugs & sofa set. Since the place is small, I will make all spaces functional as possible. I can remember my dorm back in college where "my space" can be identified by area rugs. It marks my domain in the room since I'm sharing it with my 3 roomates. Actually, I'm the only one with a rug in there... So, in my condo, the sala, dining & bedroom will be separated with different rugs! What do you think?

Since it is just a studio unit, I'll place a divider, may be made of wood for privacy. For the kitchen part, Ill have a counter with cabinets for keeping kitchen utensils & wares. I'll not bother with a dining set but a counter with high bar chairs. I'll put pin lights, shelves for my books, and stylish cabinets for my bags & shoes. My sofa will be red. Abstract paintings on the wall.

Maybe I don't need professional help at all! Hahahaha. What I need is the money to buy all those stuffs! Well, wish me luck. I really hope i can post picture of my furnished condo very very soon.

Thats my text message alert tone. Hearing it lots of time through the day made me pause & review what has transpired, what is going-on & what are about to happen to me.

For starters, as what i've written in the post before this, my classses at DLSU is over. I'm just waiting for the grade & diploma... met up with a college buddy & talked about alchemy, mysticsm & natural laws for 5 hours (this is really a mind boggling encounter!)... bought 4 items from ebay, got 3 new bags & 2 shoes... submitted PAM for merit rating (basis for salary increase)...got a new hair cut! i felt all the stress & pressure left me as mi sais goodby to my always long hair. It wea a nice feeling indeed!

Moving on, tomorrow, ill be watching Cinderella @ CCP with my sisters, Jacque & Simon... scheduled a massage on Sunday... travel home to Cavite...watch movie...burn cd...attend LRP, Supply Chain & Sales Meeting until 3rd week of this month.

Whats really major coming up is that of my job assignment. I was just informed that ill be handling additional products in my portfolio. So, all in all, Ill be handling total 8 brands (previously 3)! I'm not sure if i can do this all by myself. It sure is a challenge & opportunity to earn more incentive because 6 out of 8 of this brands are major brands.

Well. this is going to be a tough one for me. I'll just do my best, crossed fingers.

Class is finally over!

No more classes! No more books! No more teachers dirty looks! Does this sound familiar? Hehehehe... i remember this in one of looney toons flick... a certain rabbit hunter hunting for bugs bunny.... anyway...my class is over!!! Originally final project presentation is scheduled tomorrow but we did our presentation today at Boz cafe in the absence of our classmates...we requested a special time since I can't attend tomorrow because i'll be watching Cinderella starring Lea Salonga!....

Though we were given 2 weeks to prepare the project, we finished it practically in ~4 hours!...thats us... me & Ayn, a true blooded UPLB student that adheres to the belief that cramming is a way of life. Best ideas comes out instantly when time is against you! Oh, well, we really think we pulled it out quite well since our professor did not comment much... or maybe, he does not really understand our product & market (animal health & nutrition. But we are really proud with the finished product since we accomplished all the required details. Our presentation run for 1 houR! Congrats to us! Got a new diploma! Hope we get high grades!
